Wow, this is exactly why I don’t play video games … I recently discovered the World of Goo, its worse then Lemmings was, (in a, this is far too addictive way). The premise is that you have different types of goo balls and you need to rescue them, some float, all are kinda sticky. I spent far too much time Sunday Evening playing this game, and then last night I finished it.
If your anything like me, once in a long while a game comes along that you just can’t put down (no matter how silli or stupid it is). World of Goo is one of these, I think I played for about 5 hours straight on Sunday (major distraction).
But I suppose that if the distraction was present, then there is something to learn from it… After all, nothing happens that isn’t supposed too right? What I’m supposed to learn from the goo balls (aside from “we’re all in this together“) I’m not yet sure, but I needed something to write about today and the little gooey guys were still on my mind, it was kinda sad that I finished it. I think that the developers should do a sequel
