More Delayed Posts…
Wow, this has been a rocky start, but I’m going to keep on getting on. The DNS problems with my host didn’t help, but thats not the real reason for the delay in posting. Hopefully I have it figured out now, and hopefully with my new arsenal of GTD tools, I’ll be able to keep on top of the posts so that they come out on time.
Because This post will show up in a delayed batch, thats all I’m gonna say today

Odds and Ends…
Just a few things that relate to the various posts so far this year… No particular order (if your actually following along they will make sense to you).
Word of Goo has OCD Missions!!!!! (Thanks Craig) … Insanely hard missions within the missions for the obsessive people (this may take awhile, but its added a distraction I SO didn’t need).
SmallTalk will be the new language (i think) this year Craig and Steven both say the squeak distro is what I want to look at … because a Language that was written in it’s own Language sounds kinda twisted, and lets be honest, thats how I roll
Check Engine Light came back on, however I think I know why … will have to stop in and see my Mechanic to verify my suspicion.
The LMD project came up yesterday, looks like DivX 7 is using Matroska … who woulda thought? I will have to let my brain cycle through the idea a little more….
Made a list for a VA (Virtual Assistant if you were wondering Lee). Hopefully next month I will have the funds available to look into getting one for a few hours (Recommendations Anyone???) … Initial plan is for the phone project … lets see if this one can grow wings
Oh, You may have thought I wasn’t blogging for a few days .. seems that my Mac Journal doesn’t like something in my current Word Press version and my posts have been sitting as unpublished for days on end …. Rest assured I’m writing… perhaps if you notice a day is missing (they should always come in around 11:11 AM (worth a post on it’s own)) send me a nudge and i’ll kick the side of the pipe to make them fall out (I try to keep a few thoughts in queue so there isn’t really a reason to go without a post).
Rails is becoming a Love Hate relationship, as this post went live I’m in a meeting (assuming that the twiddle I did worked) with a Client about a Rails project.
I think thats enough for now…

Car Maintenance … Reflections of Life
So I write this as I’m waiting for my Mechanic (Jeff FInley) to finish a scheduled oil change for my car. (looking for a GREAT mechanic? … I’ve got one)
This guy runs a tight ship and never charges me anything but an honest and fair price. I couldn’t ever ask for anyone better.
He is also troubleshooting my check engine light which has been on since I got the car. Awesome
That leads me into thinking about a project coming out of the Master Mind Group (we should be meeting today). What kind of ‘check engine light’ can we assign to life?
Looks like the car is done… that makes for a super short post.

Hosting

So I finally got the hosting, I have to give kudos to the hostpapa people, they have so far exceeded my expectations, and the pricing is best-in-class, especially seeing as they don’t ding you for every little add on like some of their competitors…
I guess part of my Family Day (new Ontario Holiday) will be spent finishing content and getting it posted while I wait for DNS to populate my new home arcoss the Inter-web :-p

New site!
After a fair bit of prodding, I bit the bullet and put together my new Site. Formerly Wizards Realm (.net), RobertFrench.ca is the current revision for my home on the web.
I should be updating pretty frequently as I gear up to expand my Professional Service … Please stand by while I get some content up and start in on the Blog engine.
